Time2pass was set up eleven years ago by Neil Chegwin, a grade A driving instructor, who has spent all of his working life in the driving field; a motor mechanic for two years, and then an emergency medical technician for the London ambulance service, with 30 years blue light driving experience. Neil also has advanced driving skills with Rospa and the driving instructor’s association, and is on the official register of driving instructor trainers (Ordit) Neil passed the ORDIT Test with a 100% score.
Our aim is to give the best possible training you can receive. We were trained as driving instructors by an ex-examiner so we feel that we have the complete knowledge to give you the best training in all parts of the test.
We will not just teach you to qualify as an ADI, we will teach you everything you need to know about teaching new driver. There is much more to teaching than passing the pre-set tests and we will give you the skills to be a driving instructor for as long as you wish. We will also provide you with full support with any problems you have, through phone support or meeting up with you if you need more help. This is the sort of support we had and is one of the reasons we are a very busy company who have a growing number of instructors working for us, and some who have moved on to set up their own schools with our help.
Once qualified you will, within about six months, receive a standards check where an examiner goes out with you while you conduct a lesson to ensure you are at the correct standard. Again, you will be given full support to make sure you pass on the day.
When I became a driving instructor I was given support by my trainer, he then recommended me to a driving school where I continued to be supported, which is why I have succeeded.
