Coronavirus (COVID-19)

There is no guidance regarding the wearing of PPE on Gov.uk for driving lessons, however, on the day of your test you will be expected to wear a face covering. Here is the link so you can view the guidance yourself www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-driving-tests-and-theory-tests.

All our instructors will ensure their car is cleaned between lessons and have hand sanitiser available in the car. Guidance states that hands should be washed immediately prior to your lesson and straight after. If you wish to wear a face covering or gloves, these should be put on just before getting into the car to prevent cross-contamination.

During the lesson, any lesson aids will be held by the instructors and not handed to you. Again, this is to reduce any risk of cross-contamination.

Your instructor will ask you to confirm that you have been symptom free for the last 7 days and that you have not been in contact with anyone displaying symptoms; these includes a high temperature, persistent cough or loss of smell or taste.

If your lesson has to be cancelled for this reason, there will be no charge for that lesson. With this in mind, if your instructor displays symptoms, they will contact you to cancel the lesson which may be at short notice.

If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to contact your instructor. We look forward to driving with you once again.
